Our 27-year-old log home at Georgetown Lake, Montana, had reached the point where it needed a restoration. We were fortunate to connect with Robert Westberry and True Blue Logworks. Their work was first rate in every respect. There was consistent attention to the smallest details, including repairing minor gaps in the chinking (necessary to keep the bats out). Extra time was taken to get the job done right, never force-fitting the work into the preferred amount of time. I never saw any instance where safety was compromised, even where our house presented some difficult access problems. The communication was excellent. There were no unpleasant surprises. We had two logs that needed replacement. I was amazed at their skill in accomplishing this and making it appear as if it were the original logs. Robert and Tristan were scrupulous about cleaning up every afternoon and minimized the disruption to our ordinary routine. We had to leave the house about a week before the work was finished.
